Moult First Lady Home at Cambridge Tri
Ali Moult thrashed the lady’s field at the Cambridge Olympic Triathlon on June 15th, finishing eight minutes ahead of the second lady and setting a personal best time of 2:18:46 for the 1500m swim, 40k bike and 10k run. The wet and windy conditions, while posing a challenge, did not stop Ali having a great race only three weeks before the Rugby Triathlon Club Olympic Distance Championship race.
At the Rother Valley Country Park Triathlon Festival (which doubled as the qualifier race for ITU 2014 World Sprint Championships and the 2015 European Sprint Championships) Dean Swindell completed the 750m open water swim, 25.4k bike and 5k run in 1:23:35 and Bev Masterman came home in 49:29 in the Women’s Only Triathlon (200m swim, 10k bike, 4k run), which placed her fourth in her age group (30-34).
Lastly, at the Windsor Triathlon Kevin Sexton finished the scenic Olympic race (1500m swim, 42k bike, 10k run) in 2:31:06.<- Back to News
