Each year, Rugby Triathlon Club supports two charities. There are fundraising events throughout the year, including during the Viridian Daventry Triathlon and at the annual awards night.

Club members may nominate a charity for the next year during the AGM.

Bloodwise is the UK’s leading blood cancer charity dedicated to funding ground-breaking research. Blood cancer is the third biggest cancer killer in the UK and claims more lives than breast or prostate cancer.
We invest in scientific research which will help reduce the incidence, severity and impact of blood cancer, through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment. We also provide information and support to those affected by blood cancer.

Childrens Christmas Wish List

Childrens Christmas Wish List was founded in 2008 with the arranging of Black Tie fundraising evening at the Crown Inn, Stockton, in aid of a local family affected by cancer. From that event a total of £7000 was raised, with the family requesting that the money go to the children's ward at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire - this was realised in the form of toys, games, TV's, Play Station, iPads and many more gifts.

After delivering these gifts it was decided to make it an annual event, with a total of £10,000 being raised the following year!

Fundraising events so far have included Sky Diving, Wing Walks, Mud Runs, Golf Days, Treks up Kilimanjaro & Everest Base Camp, Family Fun Days plus many more, allowing the charity to grant wishes ranging from a trip to a fire station, various VIP days out at Premiership Football stadiums including Arsenal & Manchester City, trips to X Factor, toys, games and clothes to ‘Trips of a lifetime’ to 1 family every year to Give Kids the World Village in Florida.
