Volunteering At Daventry Open Water Swimming Sessions

Dear valued volunteer,

Thanks for your interest in supporting the community use of Daventry Country Park for Open Water Swimming.

The information below:

Open water swimming at Daventry Country Park is completely volunteer run, operated by a group of volunteers from Rugby Triathlon Club and Daventry Dolphins in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport and Northamptonshire Parks.

All swimming fees are reinvested back into the development of the venue and operational costs for running the swim sessions throughout the summer.

Volunteer Roles

The below table outlines all roles required for each swimming session. We divide each session for volunteers into two, allowing the opportunity for every volunteer to also swim at the session if they wish (see below table).

Volunteers at each swim session also have their swim fees for that session waived (car parking charges still apply).
