LOVE RUGBY FESTIVAL – INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOOKING A TASTER SESSION

Welcome, we're really pleased to be part of the Love Rugby Festival again this year and offer coached taster triathlon training sessions. Below you will find all the information you’ll need to join in with our track run or swim training sessions which will be available throughout the Love Rugby Festival (June 20th to July 5th 2026).

These are free coached training sessions available to adults and those aged 16 and 17 years of all abilities, and they last one hour.

We have a limited number of free half-year standard memberships on offer (starting from July 1st and available to taster session participants), PLUS a discount on the entry fee to the Viridian Daventry Triathlon which takes place on September 13th in Daventry, so if you enjoyed your taster sessions and would like to do more please let us know.

You will also find us at Love Rugby 5K run on Sunday, July 5th if you would like to learn more about our club, our training sessions and the events we organise.

How to Book

Step 1 – Register your details on our website which will create a profile for you.

Step 2 – Email info@rugbytriathlon.org.uk to let us know you have registered.  Please put ‘Love Rugby Festival’ in the title of the email. We will then issue your free pass which will be available to use throughout the Love Rugby Festival. The free pass can be viewed on your profile page.

Step 3 – Book the session you would like to attend from the ‘Sessions’ tab, click on the session name. The system knows you have a ‘free pass’ so no payment is required. Your name will appear in the ‘bookings’ list for that session.

Please note If you are aged 16-17 years of age, we will require additional forms to be completed and parental consent for your attendance. We can do this via email before you book onto any session. If the forms are not returned before your chosen session, we will not be able to allow you to attend. This is to ensure we are following the British Triathlon Federation’s Safeguarding guidelines.

Please note Each training session has a capacity of 30 participants and existing members will have priority booking. If a session is full, we kindly ask that you try to book for the following week. Should you find, once booked onto a session, that you are unable to attend please go online to the session you booked and cancel your attendance.

By booking onto one of the Love Rugby Festival taster sessions you are agreeing to the Rugby Triathlon Club Code of Conduct
