Coaching Plan Sessions

Main coached swim session - every Tuesday night at Rugby School Sports Centre swimming pool, from 6:45pm. Member fee for this session is £4. Qualified Tri coaches on poolside. If you can swim 50m in any stroke style you may have a free 'taster' session. After that you will be able to attend 3 further consecutive weeks but pay a fee of £6 per session. If you attend any further weeks, you will be charged a fee of £10 per session until you join the Club.
Cycle sessions are organised on an informal basis, generally Sundays at 8am from Rugby School Sports Centre. During the Winter months spin sessions are organised. Normally starting in January and running through to the end of March. Venues vary each year. Members receive notification of the details.
There are two coached run sessions each week. The Monday session takes place at the athletics track at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre, Rugby. The session runs from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. This track session will cost members £2 and non-members £5. If you would like to attend a taster session (at a cost of £2) please come along.
The Thursday road-based session starts at 7.00pm from the Rugby School Sports Centre and lasts one hour.

The club coaching plan is based around a one - year macrocycle - the plan helps ensure that all coached sessions integrate with each other, and work towards the club championship races listed below.
The plan also helps us structure club seminars and targeted training sessions, to make sure that we put support in where it is needed within the season. To view our annual plan, open the pdf document below:

These seminars are free to club members only, and cover a wide range of essential topics as you head towards the race season.
Each session is led by a qualified club coach, and includes both theory and practical elements. All sessions take place in the teaching room at Rugby School swimming pool.
